We don't want students to feel that they must drag themselves to school when they are ill. Because of so many absences this semester, all high school students are exempt from taking elective exams for the first semester. A decision concerning second semester will be made later.
Parens are encouraged to use the sixteen approved absences wisely. If a child has more than sixteen absences, a doctor's excuse will be required and the other components of the attendance policy will be in effect.
