The Ross High School marching band is most known for its amazing performances during the halftimes of the home and away football games. The band is also known for winning competitions.

The band will compete in five regional competitions during the year, and is hoping to qualify for the state competition. The first competition was held at Tipp City High School on Saturday, September 19th.  The band received 1st place in the Class A division. They also received Best Percussion and Best Color Guard in the Class A division. Overall, they received a rating of Excellent.

The next competition will be held at Hamilton High School on Saturday, September 26th. The band has been practicing for these competitions since the end of July.

They will continue to perform a show based around circus music, with three songs: “Ring One”, “Ring Two”, and “Ring Three”. Mr. Roemer is eagerly awaiting the future competitions and has high hopes for this band. “That’s what we’re here for,” he said.
