“A breathtaking experience.” Prom Night remake amazes and shocks!

The remake of “Prom Night” was a breathtaking experience. My expectations were very, very high and it was better than I thought it would be. In the finale, I was sweating with adrenaline, because it was very intense and suspenseful.

The story never lets up after it begins it goes further than you thought possible. The scenes are very clever and it gets very exciting during each scene. The most exciting scene is where Mr. Fenton is attacking Donna and Idris shoots him down. My story rating: A+.

The acting is extremely fun and enjoyable. Both the amazing/beautiful Brittany Snow and Jessica Stroup gave excellent performances. Jessica Stoup is an amazing actress, and she will always impress me with every performance on screen that I lay eyes on. Her famous scene was the throat attack stabbing sequence with Jonathan Screach. The rest of the cast was amazingly great. My acting rating: A+.

The direction is brilliant and Nelson does a great job of creating tension between the scenes. It was obvious that he really enjoys working with the amazing cast. My direction rating: A+.

The visuals are very, very eerie and amazing. The decorations are extremely incredible because the dancing room looked amazing. The lights were amazing and the confetti was unbelievable. The cinematography is very claustrophobia during the terror and the music is very, very threatening at times especially during the scenes where the characters are scared and holding their breath. It’s just realistic and extremely fun. My visuals rating: A+.

Overall, this is an amazing movie with a well written script and great scares. It’s a great date movie to watch in the dark while munching on your popcorn and drinking the fizzles out of your soda. It is recognized as a great piece of filmmaking. I have never seen the original and I probably never will, but this is highly recommended for all fans of the thriller genre. My rating is 5 stars (*****) and it is resembled as Grade: A+.”- Zachary Padron.
