By Samantha Vivian Siers

Transportation: When visiting the big city, getting around is the biggest hassle. It can leave you flat broke and with a huge headache. If your arriving in JFK (John F. Kennedy Airport), the flat fee to the Manhattan area is $45. That doesn’t include bridge or tunnel fees. Another option is the train. Its $15 to and from your destination. Since taxis are expensive, the train might not always be near, and traffic is hectic, the subway is the BEST way to go. One ride is a mere $2 but if your planning to take more than 3 rides, the Fun Pass is the way to go. This $7.50 pass is easily the most cost efficient way to travel.
